actually steveillusion has gone public since Nov 1st 09 but its in the process of renovating n touching-up here n there so i don't wish to make a buzz about under-con site..

Well although i'm still searching around for my ideal Logo but most of the things are functioning well and good to go. So here it is~ the continue of my voyage goes here:

Level Up Fitness

Finally a proper fitness centre that i have been dreaming about has started at my hometown here in Kuching.

Went for the preview last Sunday for some photo shoot as well.

Just as i expect Proper environment (clean, tidy, air-conditioned, elegance, young...)

Proper equipment are all line up properly on 2 floor with the weight machines n free weight area at ground floor and cardio machines at 1st floor *i missplace my photo for the weight machines... huhu* They provide proper locker for storage and towel can be collected upon entry. Shower facility are also attached to the bathroom.

Most importantly GroupX ! They'r the first fitness centre to offer LesMills Programme in Kuching. But i do hope they bring in more programme from what they have now is only BodyCombat and BodyPump*1 of my fav*

They do also have Pilates classes, aerobic classes, Step-classes(using step-board), belly dancing and Yoga. Best part is u can access to all of these classes F.O.C. if you're their member of Level Up!

All classes will be held at this decent studio

Oh for all Kuching Kia who had been waiting for such fitness centre to emerge do check it out within this 2 days to get their promotion of RM99/month (promotion ends 31st Oct)

Newer Bold's out?!

Just came across this when i was googling around.. ANOTHER BOLD is on its way??? you gotta be kidding me!!! Immediately i youtube for some 1st hand review on the rumor Bold 9700 and it is true! its basically a diet version of Bold 9000 and its so much sleek n elegance! same as Curve 8530! Most feature on 9700 are refined version of 9000.. mama-meeyaa it also features optical TRACKPAD! 3.3mp Auto-focus camera and more flash memory compared to 9000, and it has much longer battery life!

Although after 2 weeks of using my Bold 9000 with a few unsatisfactory comparison with my E 71 but this Bold 9700 surely catches my attention!

I wonder the latest firmware overcomes my complaint about the user-friendliness of what i'm using right now (V4.6) ability to:

sort sms by name/date file in different folders
Read pdf files stored on flash memory card

Velocity NEW GAMES!

I'm sure most people have heard of Velocity Indoor Go-Kart and probably had driven some laps there.

Previously i was so tempted to go for a race when Velocity commence their business for few month but didn't make it cuz there aren't enough kaki to tag along...

When i finally found enough kaki.. the number of their drivable Kart decreased top only 1 or 2... such a tragic for me...

So i waited and it didn't let me down! some weeks ago i heard that there are actually new Karts flown in from France and there are all together more than 6 of em ready to tear the circuit!

According to Calvin these highpowered 6.5HP Honda engines can actually push the kart to near 90km/h on open road!

Of course it's being tuned down to suit the track but hey! it still feels beefy in terms of acceleration compared to the kart that i played in Genting some years ago..

Apart from new Kart new track have been redesign to fullfill the hunger of these little runner

So we've tested the new track and Kart and guess what! i'm 4 sec faster than my previous run along with my bro on the same track! I bet Calvin has done something to the Karts... But whatever you've done WELL DONE!

Here comes the best part.. Many people thought that Karting itself is quite expensive when they 1st open, so New packages n daily promotion are being made up in respond to customers feedback.

Not only that, you'll notice these Black "box-like" barrier or partition or whatever it is on the left side where broken kart use to be stored..

When you walk into the maze of boxes, you'll notice there are a roll of buckets filled with water...

My 1st impression is that are there any animal around to be fed with all these water or is there creatures in these waters...

Guess wud.....

Its the ALL NEW WATER TAG!!!

It might look wierd wearing rain coats indoor but trust me.. When you're sweating after the Kart or even straight from hot sunny day.. this game's a heavenly fun.

Cost for the Game: RM6/session (How cool is that?!) Finally Something that you can play without burning a hole in your pocket!

I'd say i wud definately go back for more especially for the Kart!

Censorship Again?

Okay so i was listening to radio station on my way to work as usual and it was playing my Fav song by BEP - I Gotta Feelin. Guess what? they censored the word "Mozoltov"
The question is what harm can a word do to this society?? I mean cummon how long can u keep these Mr censor??? Wake up!! try search the lyrics online n EVERYTHING's there! Right in ur face!

I notice that censorship in art content (songs, movies etc) aren't really doing good for the country *at least for my own opinion* Instead of keep on censoring "Stuff that YOU deem not good for your citizen" Why not EDUCATE or even PROMOTE what's GOOD for them?! Where's your GOV promotion budget on Health or Education goes to? USE IT!!

WAKE UP!! STOP Pulling out UNNECESSARY CENSORSHIP in the expense of OUR RIGHT!!! ARGH!

My 3 month n 8 day Baby--->E71

It has been 2,352hours since i first got myself this sexy little baby. Thee Shiny compact yet powerful Nokia E-71 *drum rolls...*

Since I've got luck weeks ago and own another BlackBerry Bold 9000, I've decided to do my own little review on the Nokia E71 before my 1st take on BB Bold. Nothing technical~ these are all my feeling and thoughts while using this nice piece of tech here. Oh and also i'm not associate neither sponsored to write these, its just me, and only me. So don held me responsible for any legal stuff

A brief intro on how i use my E71... So here goes

Environment : 50% of the time in the field of construction site and 50% off site (ie. office, home, off work hour YAEHUU!!
Function that i use on da phone: Call, sms, mms, web surfing(w/ wifi as well as EDGE connectivity using Opera-mini Browser as well as default browser), calender, To-Do-List, notes, camera, QuickOffice (more on spreadsheet and doc) GPS(Garmin Mobile XT), Music player *while driving*... hmm pretty much everything except for the Video conference i think..
Storage n protection: when carrying around i use Locally purchased * believed to be manufactured in china's* fake leather vertical flip pouch(with the magnets removed by itself... -_-") slide in my pocket most of the time. Oh and i also use basic screen protector.

OK lets start with the Body n build of the E71

Overall i just love~ the quality stainless steel wrapped all around *almost 90% of the body* it gives a very steady, classy or should i say "worthy" kind of feel for the price i pay. No sign of wobbly or loose feel on key board and also Battery cover. The weight and the size feels juuust nice in my palm. Key-punch feels steady
HOWEVER~ The semi-doted back of the battery cover collects finger print easily, especially i have sweaty palm. But its no big deal, cuz simply wipe the stainless steel cover on my shirt leaving stainless steel cover with no scratch mark but clean as new. Another dislike is the size of the key... Its a bit small but then little time is what you need to get use to it and of course for me i think its a safety feature! Why? cuz u can hardly make calls or sms while driving (Isn't it a nice feature??)

OK moving on to the Software part

Ability to multitask is 1 of the coolest function i like about this phone, i tried checking air ticket, viewing my own calender and also SMS at the same time (the shortcut key are especially useful) Viewing web page that's not optimized for mobile browsing will require a fare bit of navigation through the D-pad, the problem here is that D-pad operates up, down, left and right, so the movement's a bit like the preloaded game SNAKE, how does this affects browsing or rather navigation? when u want to click on hyperlink within the page you'll need a few more clicks compare to touch pad, joystick or even trackball *You know what i mean rite?* Another thing is that not all java page loads on default browser and also Opera... i wonder am i missing some plug-in??

Quickoffice comes with free upgrade to version 6 which is for sure a good thing. I use spreadsheets a lot for keying in data from pre-format sheets. The only thing i wish is its had bigger screen.. formulas works fine n so do other basic function but not for macros.

As for word, well body of the document appears to be exactly what u see on your computer screen but without the header and footer.. again there might be some option that can view the "full" doc but so far i havent found it.

Final verdict, If only they could put a better set of camera lenses and spice up the browser and also beef up the music player it'll be perfect for me.

Coffee chat @ starbucks with Ambassador of Bosnia

I was telling my mom his afternoon in a chat that i was going to meet up representative of Bosnia tonight *just now* and my mom thought that i was fooling around and so did my bro... Their impression is that only if I'm "IN" the "social level" THEN only i can meet up with Main man like them. But guess what?! I just had coffee chat session sitting right beside Mr Ensar, Ambassador from the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Thanks to Diong, Sales Manager from BCCK, and Mr Nordin from Glenreagh for the arrangement and also FREE COFFEE!! (that's y i'm still staying up instead of floating in my dreamland now) *and also ah rose and my dear for the premium opportunity*

So who says only premium only can meet up representative of a country? ambassador are also human. One thing that Mr Ensar said which i think its very true is that being an ambassador ALSO have to get close with the public of the country, cuz that's what really shape the country! That's so true right?!

Before the chat, only statistics online which might be actual but after the session i got the factual situation happening in Bosnia. Mr Ensar brief us about the political, educational, economical, we name it he'll answer it... and you know what? Best part is that i know that the Bosnian Pyramid does exist and its really a man made structure with proper ventilation even deep in the tunnel. All these while the Pyramid is there but yet to be discovered until the "Indiana Johns" discovered them. (See~ apart from politics, social economics, they tell us interesting stuff too!)

The reason why we can have Mr Ensar here is that ~~tomorrow~~ today there will be a Press release at BCCK for the MALAYSIA GLOBAL BUSINESS FORUM that will be held from 8th Nov 09 till 11th Nov 09. So Stay tuned on all major media for tomorrow's release! [Bosnian companies are looking to penetrate into Malaysia and to establish business relation and partnership]

I was invited to the 2nd Mingle session with DIGI in conjunction with the official Launch of Blackberry Yesterday @ Senso

What actually draws me there of course more than networking and knowing a little more about BlackBerry, its because there's 2 BlackBerry to be won!!

So the session begins with the presentation, mingle session AND FINALLY!! Lucky DRAW!!

All guess's anxiously standing up waiting for their business card to be picked, so Am I!

There's ONLY 2 BlackBerry for the draw, Curve 8900 and Bold 9000. Supposingly there's 2 draw as there's only 2 price but The 1st business card drawn and the owner'd left, which means there's 3 draw! *chances increase!* so the 2nd name card held in the hand of announcer does looks like mine, *Am I going to win Curve?!* but when he announce the number starting with "8" heart just knew it wasn't mine.. AND the final Prize! After our delicious breakfast we head up to Sibu town

Well other than Swan *use to be call city of swan* and a tall building there isn't much landscape that attracts me over there. But there is some tempting reasonably nice food there!

Had our lunch at HONG YUAN CAFE located just opposite SAN YANG's building where we spend most of our time *story comes later*

dear mentioned that there's past review about this coffee shop and since they serve a variety of food so we giv it a shot

These tasty look little basket of food surely caught my attention...

So~ for Entree---> Pisang goreng (fried banana cut in pieces) and also deep fried vege kuih

For the Mains --> Chicken soup Mee Swaa, Dry Dumpling, Kam Pua with pig liver soup

After the lunch, we burn our calories by walking around the town, taking pictures along the way *but not much nice view though..* and we ended up reading mags, and comics to kill our time... (1st time that i travel that need reading to kill time...)
When the time on the watch ticks 6pm HURRAY! the time has finally came for us to feast ourselves with the food at pasar malam (night Market)

Dear read some review and this is what attracts all of us to the night market. RM2/plate *Cheap ae?!*
But of all i think the best food in the pasar malam is the Char-Xio-Siao-Long-Bao (mini pork bun) from this stall
Of course there's much more other goodies around
we only bought the toasted "pig head skin" 3 layered pork belly and some parts from wild bore... Notice there's chilled cold beer sold there? Aren't they brilliant? u can just grab a piece of meat and feast it along with nice cold beer walking the market... Niiice~

Wakie wakie~ Early morning~we went to the local wet market to find out wuds cool over there.

Things that surprise me is that comparing with Kuching, Sarikei's so much smaller in terms of geo coverage, population n much more.. But just look how clean, dry, tidy n organized this place is... its not really a "wet" market as there's not much water on the floor...

i notice that each and every of the seller has their on NAME TAG! Does your local seller at wet market wears NAME TAG??? I don't see any in Kuching though! they look so pro hahaha

Okay so what's really cool over there?
I'm sure most of chinese have heard of 纸包鸡 (Chicken wraped in paper n boiled) rite? Sarikei have a very different kind of 纸包鸡---> check this out!
Yup! Chicken Being wrapped in newspaper ALIVE!!! these poor chicken's waiting for buyer to bring them home and end their life in human's tummy... poor chicken

Anyone have ever notice what brand of handbag wild vege's seller use?
Well look what did Sarikei's midin seller use---> Spotted Yet?? Doesn't it look like Roxy??
Oh here goes another poor animal... 水鱼 (a type of turtle i think) also waiting to be brought hum n.... well u noe wud's gonna happen...

Okay Enuf for these poor little creatures... Moving on and we came across fresh Basil Longan.. Actually i almost had opportunity to try out these fresh juisy n sweet longan back in kch but then missed the opportunity.. but hey! i tried! and its quite nice with a bit more buttery taste..

Its quite a small market so after 1 round at the market we make our walk to nearby coffee shop which dear's Aunt use to have her morning tea there. 21 CAFE
I had KOPI-O as usual to start my day and it taste so much "Kao" n the fragrance instantly find its way to ignite me once it reaches our table...

Aunt Hua ordered Toasted butter n Kaya Bun for us to share.

Well it looks like ordinary seaseme seed bun toasted with kaya n butter.. well technically yes it is something like that but when u sink your teeth into it, *the BEST part comes* crunchiness of the outer layer and the softness inside with the kaya and butter wusses out into your mouth.... MMmmmm~~ u HAVE to try it for your own to believe what i say...

After the delicious and satisfying breakfast we walk across the street *yup almost everywhere's wihtin walking distance here* to the Gong Pia Making Bakery (a kind of foochow traditional bun)

And this is how they make it: Neat>Press>sesame sprinkle>stick it on the inner wall of the "barrel" like oven> wait for a while> and its done

After that We walk just few steps over to the dry market to get some of our child time junkfood

AGAIN! sooooo long din update my blog... hahaha still working on the mobile mechanism to ease up the process of mo-blog cuz i'm seldom in front of my pc..

Owkay~ move on~ well i just came back from my trip up NW of Borneo from my hometown Kuching.

Sad to say its my 1st time travelin to other places WITHIN the same state my hometown , but then its a gud thing for me to at least take advantage to use the newly build road to those places

We departed early in the morning just before sun rise after our quick bfast at 3rd mile, reach there ard lunch time to dear's Aunt Hua's house.

She brought us to this famous GLORY CAFE for the yummylicious Tom Yum Big Head Prawn ; There's few kinds of noodle to choose from if you order all-in-a-bowl; else u can go for a separate BIG bowl of the Tom Yum Big Head Prawn to be share.

Me n dear ordered our All-in-a-bowl Tom Yum Big Head Prawn w/ yellow noodle

oh they serve pretty nice 3 layered-pork and cha siew too!! Juiciness of the char siew and crunchiness of the 3-layered pork almost close to 7th mile's "Xi Chang Fook" which operates after 2pm.

TADA~~~~ bottom's up for my bowl of QI GEK! tom yam big head prawn experience!

after these addictive indescribable tasty tomyam noodle i'm sweating as if being trapped in a sauna room...

Frankly speaking GLORY CAFE's Tom Yum Big Head Prawn is a must try if you happen to drop by Sarikei.

So after lunch we hang around at Sarikei's Pekan for a bit, and we decided to go for another round of treats for our tummy. Next stop 15min away from Sarikei, Bintangor.

Some say there's a little stretch of shop located by the riverbank, some even highly recoment this newspaper featured Rojak stall which has been operating for more than 40 years

Well when we arive at the stall it seems there isn't much patron sitting around... we thought its becuz of the rain that holds the crowd.. or mayb its bcuz Bintangor's such a small populated town

So we ordered our sharing portion of Rojak and ABC

I think the main diff between the Rojak is that the peanuts sprinkled on top are more chunky and also there's sweet potatoes... I'd say the taste are rather normal

as for the ABC... cendol aren't really cendol... as u can see from the picture its actually grass jelly died light green... so there's actually NO cendol BUT! there's 1 piece of canned peach in the ABC...

Overall i think these "sweets" aren't really sweet if u know wud i mean...

We had our dinner coocked by Dear's Aunt. Crab in plum and black pepper sauce. Mmmmm~ simply superb~

SUPPER!! yes we'd eaten almost since we reach destination... haha that's life isn't it? Again my 1st time to try out the "Wild taste" (野味)

Bat, Wild bore and some Rice vermicelli to compliment with

Well as for the Wild Taste.. there's never been tasted so i guess i won be able to tell how nice it is but the bat surely taste like chicken...

Yesterday wus kind of rush with the heavy down pour causing unexpected traffic jam... jz imagine from 7th mile to 5th mile wus jam dead... and yes the entire stretch start from shell station...
Luckily we reach there just 5 mins after 6... not too bad.. hahaa

Me n dear wus actually expecting wording like "TONI & GUY" as we're told.. but we seen non of these words from the road.. so we park and i suggest to start from the other end.. who knows i SPOTED those word! its very very tiny that you'll easily miss out if you just zoom pastOkay, so here's a little story by Jacqueline the main woman of ESSENSUALS - Jalan Song, Kuching Jacquilene step into hairdressing industry during her studies as her part-time job and also her interest. After finishing her studies, she decided to make her dream come true, with her husband (the main man of the shop too) they started academy teaching students hairdressing. After years of maturing students the "TONI & GUY" way, the BIG guys said that, oh well since there's quite a number of ppl graduated why don't you guys put up a salon? With the passion in hairdressing, Jacqueline n her husband grab hold of this offer and that's basically how ESSENSUALS at Kuching, Jln Song came by. So People! don't miss out for the grand opening on 9th Sept 2009 6pm!

After a long day at work, i did enjoy some massage during hair washing, but it'll be better if the massage especially on head n shoulder are more intense hehe (nobody took foto during hair washing huhu..)

If you ask mewud's it feel inside, i'd say the salon's rather pack.. if customer occupied 6 of the middle seat n there'll be no place to walk around ..but that wont be felt unless you're one of the hair dresser haha.. well then why do i comment on that? cuz i did move ard taking pics ;-)

Service wise they really give your scalp n hair a fair bit of analysis and also suggestion before proceed any further, that i like a lot =) feels like u're enjoying service that is tailored specially for urself.. now That's Service!
Staff r also friendly and topic never run out for those who prefer to talk while having their hair cut. For me i'll just simmer within those rythem close my eye and wait for the new look when i open my eyes.

Happy "Ghost Fest"

Somehow... i think ancient beliefs in today's world has changed.

I read from wiki that today's suppose to be a happy day for monk as their great great monk of all has finish their meditation in the forest and to report to Buddha. So its a day for joy n happiness.

As for most of the Buddhist in Malaysia , today is the day "gate to the ghost world" is closed...

Nothing wrong with that, but it seems like those goods (dried food, fruits, roasted chicken, roasted ducks..etc) that are offered to the deceased is the main thing that draws most of the ppl to the festival. Towards the end of the ceremony ppl will "Snatch" whatever they can get from the pile of goods being offered for the ceremony... and there are also comunity that put up temparary stage to actually perform for the deceased... hmmm... okay... has it gone too far?? there's even a row of seats reserved for the "good-brothers" (ho hia di)

kind of reminds me of the chinese mandarine festival after the Chinese new year, where female throw mandarine orange and guy'll try to catch em...wud's the point ? haha funny huh.. somehow it seems the true meaning for the festival has changed... but anyway happy "七月半" every1 =)

Jz went dinner with dear @ 锋馆 (Feng Guan) located next door from Choice Daily at Premier 101

Initially i tot we had dinner tonight but it was postphoned and i didn't know that but then i'd told my mom to count me out so then after picking dear we went to this restaurant which we planed to come just few days ago.

What draws me n dear to this restaurant is this:

梅菜扣肉！！！ Its Braised pork in preserved vege (well... i kind of vege... which i had no idea wud's it call in Eng..) and look they serve WILD BORE MEAT!!! you can hardly get this these days!! we didn't order it cuz it'll be too heavy for us BUT definitely will try it up soon!

Well 1st impression: Clean, Neat, pretty much Chinese style design

After settling down we place our order and i notice the music they play are actually pretty sentimental... after a day of hustle and bustle with this music surely is soothing especially when these arrive:

Our mains:

菜香豆腐- Fragrance vege tofu?? Ya i noe picha looks a bit like termites.. but its not! ITS YUMMIE!!

We like this the most as the marinated radish and chinese mushroom goes perfect with the tofu YUMMM!!!

梅菜扣肉- Braised pork in preserved vege...

Well this dish taste rather salty.. texture of the meat's nice but if they put more "mei cai" (梅菜) instead of salt then it'll be perfect too..

dear say that the rice is a bit hard, but for me the main dishes overpowers the hardness of the rice so i tot its ok haha..

I'd luv to go back for their wild bore meat and also the "Steam chicken in herb??" i tot sud be Paper wraped chicken??

Anyway i'd say its a reasonable priced and comfy little restarant to dine in. Suitable for Single, double and group!

i wus actually quite rush that day as i still work till 5 on saturday (kolien ho?) But luckily i manage to sort up all my task on hand and still have enough time to have a SUPER early dinner with my dear before heading to BCCK (Borneo Convention Centre Kuching)

Thanks to Edwin da superstar & Frederick da main man from Techno Expo for making this HUGE event happen in such short time frame.

By looking at the logo of itself it looks like 'Bird-nest'. So i'm expecting something like the steel structure we see in Beijing OLYMPIC 09'. The trurth is of cuz its much smaller than that. I've seen it half done some times ago not knowing that was actually BCCK

Well the structure itself is not 100% complete yet.. still bits here and there to be done(i wonder how do they get permit for comercial use... hmmm from lord white hair??) but it looks pretty nice... The roof of BCCK's actually base on concept of a kind of tropical leave. When it rains, the roof actually collects the rain water and through the 'vein' of the leave the water is automatically used to water the gardens and the ground (so cool rite?!) So its a perfect location to held the Green International Festival there.

Unfortunately i haven't got time to visit the exhibition booths as i reach almost few minutes to 6 in the afternoon...

There’s also a Charity Concern to spice up the day BUT!!! Of course the ticket comes in a nominal fee. Its not really expensive and funds are then donated to Green Ribbon Association to make the world a better place.

i'm sure ppl who window shopped Digi specialised store recently or mayb for a whole already saw the pamphlet above...

By looking at its features it seems quite attractive... but when i google it doesn't seems to have much reviews or result on it...

the product is actually a Western company i guess who offer protection programme call TecProtec Inc.

I had my 1st Nokia which haven even use for half year and was stollen during my 1st year at college... its a pretty darn experience, i totally lost all my contact and have no live communication tools that time... How i wish i can somehow trackdown the mofo and surely will smash the head agains hard wall for whoever steal my phone... but i used up all my coins to call up Digi helpline and nothing they can do to help me track down the phone (i wus thinkin stuff in the hollywood screen is reality) i wus really helpless and thankgod i had email during those days and i contacted my family and had the fund for a new 3350...

and couple of weeks ago my dear also had similar experience... so i guess this products is kind of solution for people who'd like to secure the phone or atleast paralise the phone on wrong hand...

RM 39.90 on ebay wasn't that expensive, it covers damages and even replaces u a backup till ur mobile's fixed.. but i'd like to see more reviews on the effectiveness of the product.. but google dont seems to have much user review...

Any one had used or heard of anything about this product?

Happy burthdaey to the 2 new born~~~ *applause* weee~~~
ya i noe its actual date of these 2 babies are actually born back a year or 2 ago~

but after pages and pages of research and reviews me n dear came to conclusion to adopt these 2 babies

well for me a mobile phone that can make and receive calls, SMSing isn't sufficient enough.. I need sumthin that can keep me on my schedule (especially to-do as i'm really gud at forgettin things from time to time), extra long battery life for all those phone calls, GPS for explore new horizon during weekend... and most important proven track record in terms of its stability and rigidity due to my nature or work.

Well I've been using this little piece of art for more than a week now. It actually exceeds my expectation. Apart from a few firmware bug which google can easily give solution("camera in use by other application" error message; "system error" when new to-do list is added) its a very nice smartphone.

Yup that's rite~ Starbucks Coffee Jelly's BACK!

Sunday afternoon me n dear went to Spring to get her number replace *moran animal pick-pocketed her phone at the charity food fair at Civic Centre* forget about it i'll break both that moran's hand if he's so unlucky to be found by me.. okay not worth reboiling myself with that matter...

anyway before going to Digi store we head to Starbucks to get ourselves sumthin nice to iron-out our day... I wasn't actually expecting coffee jelly to be out so soon and same goes to dear..

but then when our sight arrive at starbucks this is what we saw
YESH!!! ITS THE COFFEE JELLY THAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOOO LONG!! hmm when's the last time i had coffee jelly.... 3 yrs ago?? The sensation of a cool sweetness with a hint of coffee bitter compliment with tiny cubes of black delicious chewwy jelly settle at the base of the frappucino....wud more can u ask on the hot day with a drink like that...

So we 'Q' up and place our orders and moments later we got this:
i wus so excited that i didn't even have time to focus this pic properly... haha

So after pumping a mouth full of supposingly sattisfyin coffee jelly into my mouth my tastebuds sent a message telling me that's not the taste or rather texture i've been expecting...

well, the jelly's the main thing here actually... I remember clearly the texture of the jelly that i had couple of years back is more or less as chwwy as nata-de-coco but the jelly as u can see from the pic is like 豆腐花 dyed black and slightly more gelatin which makes it more condensed that 豆腐花。。。 not as satisfying but not too bad either... If you out there wus expecting sumthing that i expected.. then this surely isn;t the coffee jelly that it use to be.. if not no harm givvit a try~ ;-)

Have you ever came across situation where u misplace something important at places during your vacation and only realize that when you're back to home country?

Well i have... *head growing big and shaping like prawn*

its the phuket trip that me and dear went like about a months ago.. haha [yea.. haven had the time to update the rest of the trip.. but soon it'll come out]

so back to the story.. there wus this photo taken by force with their 'mysterious camera man' hiding at the side of the elephant trek on our elephant ride back at phuket [there's a lot of these mysterious photographer at tourist spot in Thailand. We both tot the pic look quite nice so we bought it as our sweet memories *tahahaha sponge bob laugh* but somehow the photo dropped out of our sight when we checked out of Thantip villa... we only realize it when we got back kch that its not with us..
so we called up Thanthip Villa and checked if the photos's there.. the reception asked me to call back day after as they have to wait for the guess occupiying the room to checkout then only they can help us search the room again. So i called back day after after work and guess wud! they had it.. the housekeeping lady didn't throw it away!! it wus actually dropped between the side desk and the wall... and the housekeeping lady kept it well. i wus so happy the moment they say they had it .. so i emailed them my address and waited for the mail to arrive..

1 week pass.... 2 week pass... untill yesterday i had a flash of this incident over my mind wondering where's the mail.. did they really mail it to me?? did the postman misplace it?? Where did the mail went to???AND TODAY!!! after returning home from work justnow, my mom told me that You've got mail from Thailand!!! I've got mail~Guess Wud's inside!!

Million thanks to the team at Thanthip Villa for helping us.. it might be nothing for them but the photo means a lot for me and my dear for our 1st cross country trip.. thanks to the manager [who commision the post of the photo using registered mail], the reception [who keep in touch with us untill the photo was found], the house keeping lady [who cleaned our room, making 'flower' out of our randomly put cloths during stay time and most importantly not throwing away the photo] and other ppl involve in search of our photo at Thanthip Villa. Not only you have one of the best environment in town, the most important is your superb service to customer did not stop at the door step. Thankyou.

To be frank, Thanthip Villa is a very nice hotel located very near to the Patong beach at Phuket but slighthly apart from hussle and bussle of Patong which makes the surrounding peace and quiet. I would say its very suitable for groups of friends or family and especially couples. The ambience, standard, cleanliness of the hotel is exceptional, i like the warm hospitality that makes u feel like VIP regardless that we're staying at standard room. My stay at Thanthip Villa was an unforgettable one. I would recon this hotel if anyone wants to stay at Patong beach in Phuket island. *this is not an official ads but i'm just reviewing a little to express my gratitude.*

KL Transsit Prior Phuket

Early this month me n my dear had our 1st trip to PHUKET~

We stop over at KL for the 1st night cuz we have to catch an early flight to Phuket the next day.

Lucky enuf there's AC Neilson's 'BOSS' haha to take a half day leave to pick me n dear up then bring us to the Pork porridge that i've always wanted to go back and have a bowl and also to show my dear the great food i use to have when i wus in kl. and Bcuz of this his poor SLK kena saman..*Thanx boss u'r da man haha!*
Okay movin on with the food..
mmMMMmmm drwolin already seeing these fine poridge with crunchy intestines and chewwy meat.... not to mention the smooth and silky 'nga choi gai' [牙菜鸡 in cantonese] {mayb the chicken really ate beansproud to grow.. haha} anyway i don't know is it the same person or same recipe that i use to have few years ago.. cuz the taste is a bit different... seems less sweet compare to last time.. but its still yummyly delicious la~

At nite meet up with my foundation class gang at k3k

subang really change much compare to few years ago when i wus in my foundation year 1 n 2..

one thing that din have enuf this stop over is time and energy... i wud have meet up with bunch of energetic and fun ppl.. my ff gang... nvm la guys nex time we have crab at kampung subang then darusalem for sum teh-o-ice, nasilemak with pehe and mee goreng double +telur mata ya! haha *drowling...*

Just bought my new toy yesterday V^^V
wanted to get an ext hdd for so long but haven came across any ext hdd with triple interface (eSata, USB2.0, Firewire800) in kch... such a small market...

i really dont get it why seller in kch in ALL it shops don wanna import any ext hdd casing with Firewire interface... its so much more efficient... and much more future proof compare to USB2.0... =(

anyway cant wait anymore cuz my laptop's hdd has reach its max capacity... and i need to fit all the 1200++ pcs of photo from my phuket trip for editing.. so~ i got this rugged little box

1st contact was so much light than i expected; i read the reviews from various site and they proves from their test that the read and write speed of this rugged little thing are among top 3. How true it is? well i'll have to givvit a shot. Coming up next Phuket Trip!! Stay Tune!

Rite, frankly speaking all the bands'r quite new to me...

Hilton Lunch Buffet

I cant really remember when's the last time i had lunch buffet at Hilton...around 10 years ago? Anyway last weekend i went again, but this time with a interesting mob

Many things has changed except the staircase from the lobby down to the Waterfront Restaurant..
as i enter the restaurant, the signature sweets awakes my taste buds... *i just like sweet stuff especially look at how they're prepared..yum..*

so to start with, i took a bowl of their soup of the day which is a pot of greenish creamy thing which has no label on it beside the pot... guess wud.. turns out its cream of broccoli... taste quite nice though ;-)

these are the 2 entree that i had.. Asian sweet, sour, spicy salad and western fresh garden vege salad

as for my mains, i had some BBQ of the day which will be squid and beef patties

and finally comes to the dessert! yae i'm focusing on dessert on this one hehehe
assorted cakes, shooters, and also my last 2 favorite/highlight of the afternoon, bread and butter pudding top with vanila sauce and chocolate pudding with more chocolate sauce ~~~

Price Tagging at RM38 Its not really expensive as most of us expected
Due to the time constrain i didn't take much photo of individual dishes.. anyway shall we proceed?

western bun, soup and a variety of assorted home made salad

For the Mains-

Assorted Variety of Pastas
Malaysian Style Curries with my favourite Papadams *wink*
Honkong Style Dim Sum
Few dishes from the Hot Wok like Chili Squid, Butter Garlic Asparagus, Fried Veges, seafood omelet and so on
They Serve Roast Lamb Leg Though! hehe

The Desserts are the most eye-catching food when u walk into The Eatery *you'll see*

Okay so we were really hungry that i had forgotten to take picture for my starter...

Anyway this is my main-- Garlic Butter Asparagus, Roasted Lamb leg, Chili Squid, Seafood Omelet

2nd round: curry chicken, rendang, Nasi Briyani and some Papadams

3rd round: Pasta *forgot wud's the name dy haha*

BOYBOY 1st invasion

as usual today i came home but a little bit earlier than usual..
boyboy rush to my gate when he saw my car.. shaking tails~ waiting for me

i park my car and went in to get sum bread n later on sum bone for him..

after his dinner he INVADE my house!!! i open the gate about 3 to 4 ft wide just enuf for me to go out for feeding but after that he dug his head thru my leg n gate and into my hux...

i shh and hey him but he just tot that i wus playin with him... *cute but helpless*
the more i tries to chase him out the more he thought i'm playin with him...

so i went to take a stick intending to scare him... n guess what?!! he tot i wanna play fetch with him he set himself in a "stand-by-to-run" position facing me n shaking tails... i cant help but throw the stick about 20ft away HE FETCH!!! gosh i cant believe a stray dog would know how to play fetch!!!

apart from that, today all his kutu on his skin dissapears totally! IMPOSSIBLE!! how could that happen?? has he really have a family or does random people just helped him with all the mites...

that kind of puzzled me cuz obviously its not right to keep a dog if he has already a family rite?

but the thing is breakfast and dinner time he's even more punctual than humanbeing... waiting at the gate there shaking tail excitedly when my car approach... my question is if he does have a family why would he be waiting for me?? and after i feed him he'll stay for another hour plus then he's gone from my sight.... Hmmmm... wierd...

i think i gotta observe few more days 1st... mayb i sud make a collar with a note asking "i'm i belong to a family?" or sumthin...

"Doggy" is BACK!!!

Yesterday the poor doggy's back when i wus back hum quite late... but the weather wus gud so i went inside and find sum food for the dog

Guess what?! i found chicken bones!! WEE~~ sud be doggy's favourite
i rush out very excited and gave the bones to the dog..

this time he scares me.. i think he still afraid i'm going to assault him or sumthin.. when i get close to him its in a standby to fight back action... which scares me... haha

i wanted to drop the bone from the plastic but he's too hungry cant wait and snatch the plastic bag and run few feet away from me and dug his head into the plastic bag.. then i hear bone munching sound.. he enjoyed around 10 pieces of chicken bones cuz we had KFC that day hehe so we happy n doggy also happy

Today he's very punctual.. when i reach hum and its there waiting!
he wave his tail when he saw my car approachin *so cute* haha

One thing very special about this dog is that he knows his border...

LOOK! this 2 days he never cross into my house compound!!

wud a obedient dog...

isn't he cute... shaking tails looking ard but din wanna cross the line.. haha

when i blow wistle he just immediately stand in this position

Since he's such a cute boy i gave him some treat today.

a cookies of gingerbreadman shape, an egg (raw) and also some "steel egg" which my bro brought from taiwan but hardly any1 luvs it haha.. so i gave it to the dog

my dad n bro said that stray dog will find medicine after they have enuf food, so my dad ask me to give the dog an raw egg.. n u noe wud?!! it finish everything not even a drop left.. haha so guai..

after that i gave him some milk n water to flush down everything

lets cross our finger for the dog to recover soon~ see u soon doggy ^^

2 days ago i posted a subject about the stray dog... guess wud!! its gone!!!! have the owner bring the poor dog hum? or he'd become too sad cuz i didn't let him in that night...

sumtime its just too oxymoron... wish to keep the dog but the unknown "beans" growing on his back its just preventing me from letting him in... but hey i didn't regret cuz i heard that stray dog will find their medicine from natural sources once they're full... and i did make that poor dog's tummy fill with sandwiches i made hehe.. so i guess he's on his way searching for the legendary medicine??

this morning when i'm about to go work there's a black dog at my gate..
i didn't think of anything but chase it away to avoid it come into the compound and poo..

but after work when i come back ITS STILL THERE!!!

Its after rain so the poor dog is all wet... i parked and walk to the gate n have a look... its so wet n look so hungry....

i ran in a grab 3 biscuit for it.

look at him... he's a bit terrified... looking left n right and back before approaching my 1st biscuit to him...

Within sec its all eaten....

gosh it must be very hungry...

so i search for summo things and i found few pieces of white bread in the fridge!!
dug some butter and some tuna spread it over the bread and i rush out to the poor dog

just imagine 1 piece of white bread 4 mouth for the dog and its done with a double sandwich...
can i imagine how many days have the dog been starving??

after feeding him thinkin it'll leave to his "house" but who knows he stand at the opposite of the gate like a loyal guard-dog and make that kind of kolien sound.... my god... make me so guilty not keeping it... only if it haven got any skin disease I'll definitely let him in...

well wud to do... i'll go find a durable box for him as a shelter tomorow... dono which heartless owner throw him away... so heartless...

some people in this world just taking every single thing in this life for granted..

hav u ever came across situation that u pass a cheque to some1 and after few weeks that some1 turns back to u with unsatisfied face saying that the cheque that you pass to him did not cleared?

but after a few investigation and when u demand for a receipt proving that the cheque has been bank in, that guy just tell you its lost? and moreover demanding another cheque to be issue? cummon this trick cant even fool a schooling child nowaday..

its just too rediculous when in fact you are just doing a favour passing the cheque and that darn species turn back and make ur life more miserable....

how can this kind of species still survive on earth ???

there wus this Mc Value Lunch going on recently at Mc D. SOUNDS GREAT! so we give it a go couple of days ago

so wud's all this is about is that price cut for 4 different set meals :Mc Chicken, Double Cheese, Mc Nugget, Fillet-o-fish which all comes with regular soft drink and my favourite fries~ so me n dear choose for the double cheese and fillet-o-fish set which normally u can only get it at near RM10!!

But the catch is u gotta have to time and patient to wait for ur turn in the LONG~ 'Q' and also those food (burgers) that are meant to be hot has turn cold and those best serve chilled drinks are not as chill as it is after being pumped out earlier ... other than that the fries are still HOT!! Burgers' sizes is still the same!!

Valentine's day just pass 48 hours ago, and my lappy has been kidnap by yien so cant update.. *hahaha rubbish reasons huh?*

okay now time for a most recent update about the Valentine's day which just passes.

So wud's valentine's day? couple buy each other flowers, chocolate, bears, candle light dinners and yada yada yada... I dont think so... these are just few of the many elements of V'day.. sumthing needs to be done in order to create a chemistry to blend all of the element together which makes up the true meaning of V'day.. to express sumthin to sumone..

recalling the X'mas eve experience that causes 2 hours plus of food hunting for a decent bowl of mushroom soup and carbonara.. i figure out that its not a wise choice burn the wallet for a choice less, tasteless, unworthy "take-it or leave-it" standardize uncontrolled quality dinner SET.

Its my 1st Valentine with this special gal, and so i tell myself well.. i cant let my 1st valentine as pek cek as the X'mas eve hunting simple food that we want for more than 2 hours getting food that is not as delicious as usual.. so i've decided to use around the same amount of money that would cost a couple to buy a standard SET dinner which every1 else wud hav had on V'day and make my very own "cheft at hum V day experience" for her.

My time was tight as recently my grandma has admitted into hospital and she need sum1 to look after her 24/7 plus my current contract has shrink into 2 years contract instead of 2 years and 4 months. Time's tight which means less time to tangkap ular.. and not to mention preparation..

On sum random brainstorming during day dream session, my mind generate the picture that i want on that night piece by piece.. little touch of the scene we 1st meet with all other element that she mention that she likes.. *hehe its more then our 1st Vday so effort is a must lo* cumulatively 8~10 hours surveying materials for decos, 3~4 hours doing purchasing.. and left 1 more day to the BIG day... hour plus to clean and rearrange my room [yup too long din do room keeping.. haha] since its night time i pull the running LED lights and set-up the dim light to test the effect.

on the morning of Vday we had breakfast like usual at the place wher we use to go. *I don wanna make much different so that the surprise level wud be emphasis on the night hehe* after sending her back hum after bfast, i rush to the site to finish up my task, being a bit dizzy after whole morning of restless job i drove my car for a wash and rest for a bit while waiting the car to be done. after that another round of rushing begins, collecting flowers and went back hum to prepare the balloons and sum final decos for fresh roses pedals, candlelight dinner tables and chairs so on which tooks the entire afternoon away... and so i had to continue cooking and then rush for a quick but clean shower making sure there's no food smell on me that cud leak my surprise.. * i wus actuallly quite worried that she doesn't like this arrangement... i really had very limited time to do all this.. and when i finish i myself still thinks there's lack of sumthin..

but anyway herecomes the night...
When i went to her house its quite dark so the bouquet of red and champagne color roses is tidily hide behind the tinted glasses before she enters the car, and when she enters the smile on her face just comforts me so much.. knowing my work is getting appreciated although the quality of the flower is less than i expected.. anyway i tricked her saying i had to go hum to take sumthin that i forgot..
reaching house i told her to help me get the things i left while i do sumthin downstairs, and in a flash i grab a lighter speed up to my room and light up the candle on the dining table before she comes in. double checking the lights are dim and music is on i let her into my room. the moment she enters i can feel that she's happy enuf that tears are coming out.. that moment i felt that all these things i did is so worth it and luckily i did wud i think i sud do...the hunting for a equally nice n cute bouquet of bears, baloons, roses, cooking preparation all are priceless the moment she smile from her heart.

We took our sweet time having dinner i prepare earlier in the comfort of my own room. Mushroom soup to start with follow by my signature classic spaghetti *though that night is a bit too dry hehe* camwhoring along the way and wraps up everything with Choc mud [a must for Vday ma], her favourite black forest all from secret recipe, flush down with nice and cold beer when we finish.

After that we went out finding ideal places to take photo for memories but then my energy level has really gone down by that time so i'd all sleepy face the photo session haha... but we really enjoyed our 1st Vday.

p/s: din have much photo through the process actually cuz of very limited time.. but anyway the photo that night its all at: here *hehe all photo has already nicely edited liao ma so i can curi tulan a bit lo ho hehe

Reunion dinner 09

okay~ its been a lazy holiday hangin ard not bloggin but travelin here n ther for all the junk foods and crushed drinks... so its time to update a bit

so backtracking to the very last nite recorded on lunar calender 08 where we hav reunion dinner

this year i made 2 simple dishes and help up on 2 of the others.

its like over a year since i last hold the knife and tose the wok so kind of forgotten the mixture of the recepi i accidentally discovered... LOL

I did i very basic sabah style hong kong kai lan but that's just little things so not to mention, so move on to the steam prawn... so innitially its marinated prawn in a bit of sugar and sum nice rice wine which i left out the wine during marination.. then comes to steam.. the timing wus perfectly correct which cooks the prowan just nice not over cooked that it became hard to chew.. the thing is i added too much sugar during marinate and a bit over 10 to 15 ml of water into the beaten eggs into the prawn so that makes the presentation not quite nice and the water in the egg's not really cooked but the prawn has already done... so my bad.. gottat do more cooking randomly... haha so here it is the steam prawn, the vege, "bak kui"[traditional cuisine from chao ann ppl mixed meat roll in tofu skin and deep fried] and production from my mum steam fish, sharkfin soup *drowling..*, fried rice and also the yummy "kacang-ma" [my mum's just tryin to use the chicken meat that's being ripped off from the bones used to made stock for the sharkfin soup, so she made this dish haha]

its hippo's 1st attempt to mess with deep water... and ITS A SUCCESS!!! we made across hahaha... pitty for most of the ppl who live in Ang Cheng Ho they have to move their car to higher places..

ITS CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!

so this year's x'mas eve we manage to pull out a tiny little party on a very limited time

well it was kind of rush as lai and me busy preparing the GIANT turkey and also pizza for the nite( took us ard 4 hours for preparation...)
and we could manage to squeeze in time for the X mas deco and entertainment things.. haha sud have plan in more advance...AND NEED MORE HANDS!!

but anyway here it is the HuGe hUgE turkey and pizza

look at the 100 Plus can and u shall know how big was the pizza... hahaha
and also my arm is not even bigger than the 7 Kg's turkey??!!!

in the end we all didn't manage to finish both the pizza and also the turkey as 11 of us is just too little to feast up both of em'.... TURKEY ANYONE???? hehehehe

6th Dec 2008 marks an important date for *drum rolling and TADA!* MY BRO'S Wedding day~ this is the 1st full wedding i involve myself from preparation till the end of the ceremony tim~

so day before the wedding i took the car to be dressed-up for the BIG day. After the ppl at the studio came in and say the car was ready.. i was a bit stunt to see that such "half ready" deco can be consider as ready??? i mean its the car to be use for the big day wor... how can it be so simply and plain... after the dinner we come out with a small DIY modification plan... and it goes like this:

we add 2 hello kitties a teddy bear to the front and back of the car, some flowers to the door handle and bunch of ribbons along the stripes on the front and back..and WALAH~:

okay~ Now its time for me to get some rest now

Worms worms worms...

WORMS WORMS WORMS... why do these ppl have nothing better to do than to create these command so called "worms" [BV:AutoRun-G (Wrm) ]and did nothing other than preventing efficient work... today i had my removable drives infected by this... annoying "worm"...

wud it does is basically annoy u over and over again with the anti-virus poping up saying a virus has been detected and no matter how many times u move the "worm" to virus vault or deleting it, it just wont stop giving u pop up...

so.. basically this worm is trigger by the those system which autorun is set to "1" [by default] so when u plug ur removable drives into ur USB port, the autorun command will trigger this worm and the message from avast anti-virus will keep poping up...

so the solution? pretty straight forward actually... wud i did is just google the name and i had this 2 solution which basically did the same thing. the difference between these 2 option is that 1 requires u to download a pretty straight forward little flash programme at http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/Flash_Disinfector.exe which basically did the thing that u need to do in the 2nd option which is to create a folder name under "autorun.inf" and then the annoying message stops poping up...

but this leads me thinkin that isn't the worm is still inside the removable media? cuz wud the empty autorun.inf did was to trick the worm from triggering itself.. but its still ther isn't it??

gosh look at the clock!! ITS ONLY 6.58!!! just 15 mins ago i was woken by the hammering or door.... BAM BAM BAM!!! i was still half way in my dream... and wonder wud's happening.... the 1st thing i did was grab my mini clock to check the time.. OMG!!! the minite hand was pointing at 1 minute pass number 9!!! DID I OVER SLEPT ??!! i grab my watch my phone looking at the same minutes display... without delay in a speed of light i prepare myself... after preparing everything i was much more awake cuz my blood circulation escaladed few time for that kind of shock... then finally when i grab my phone checking my 1st item in my "To-Do-List" THEN only i realize sumthing....its only merely 7 o clock.....oh..man..... I'M 15 MINs EARLIER!!! NO WONDER MY ALARM ALL DIDN'T CHIME!!!! now from a supposingly guilty day turns out that i'v so many time to waste b4 i really head off to work....so~ ended up posting the earliest post ever...hahaha the "BIG BAM" is actually for my bro...not me... he's late for i dono wud...

ITS lunch time!!!

sat noon i'v got sumthin to do after lunch ard city so gave lai a call and he sugested MISTER BEAN a restaurant located right opposite 东馆西馆 [will be updating precise address and logo after my next visit] the restaurant has a fare variety of signature mix drinks and also local delicacies

add any sets of mains with RM 2 you'll get this:3 items!!!! with choices!!! how gud is that!! so i opp for fresh soya milk for my 1st item; beancurd pudding for my 2nd option and with a complimentary sponge cake which is reeeeaaaally fluffy~for the mains i had Nasi Lemak + curry for only RM4 !!! ITS CHEAP!!! i cant even get this deal at 7th mile !!! overall the taste and portion its just nice and reasonably tasty.. if not for presentation sack i wud suggest a bigger plate for the ease of dining... when i tried to mix sambal enchovies and peanuts with the rice [ i always hav nasi lemak this way haha] the mixture needs slow motion if not everything will be splash on the table... plates a bit too smal for me haha.. but if u don hav nasi lemak like my style~ sud be no problemo~

as for the drink our fren [taoke neo] compliments me with 变天: its blue soda water with some red-ish jam below.. haha ya i noe.. it kind of look like those drink which taste like anti-biotic.. but this 1 doesnt. after a few hard stir the drink changes its colour into purple~~ and that explains the name of the drink

Overall the food that i had is quite delicious and wallet friendly. The specialty bean curd puding is my favourite.. really smooth texture which is so fine that u can "push the puding through the hole in between your teeth[part of the fun while eating puding hehe]

so i'll recomend MISTER BEAN to any1 who LUV~ bean curd pudding and fancy drinks

there was this boring day around 4pm i found myself too free... so decided to have sum fun with the "ROTAN MOUNTAIN" being illegally logged by transpassing ppl and therefore stored at outside the site office for further perusal..

Hmm...soo wud to do with all these rotan lei...

dug out a mini saw and few of us started to cut the freshly cut ROTAN into shorter lenght.. for wud lei??

I think its a gud idea having dinner at pop wave.. although the sound system is not as gud as the 1 at flaminggo, but the overall service, cleanliness, facilities, price and all kind of other things satisfy me. Hmm or mayb its the 天时地利人和 all exist at once?? so comes out a happy and memorable BD lo~ thanks to All u guys and gals though! *big hugs*

loads of things happen that night as the time ticks officially into my 24th year on earth
ppl sing, dance, drink, go crazy, camera's light flashes all over, dare deviling with happy ending *nyek nyek* and many more~

hae hae hae~ my 1st shoot!! dono y that night don have any dizzyness at all.. still very awake after all together 3 solo challenge and 2 group solo challenge which comes out to be 6 glass plus

*relief* finally updating my blog... delayed 2 days dy... hahaha

actually wanted to have a dinner at sum nice place with all frens but so coincidentaly my secondary school turns 50 while i turn 24th somight as well have dinner together lo~

although its REALLY hot in the dewan there.. cant stop fanning to get air circulated but got over 1K ppl celebrating singing BD songs wo~ hahaha

we had 9 course meal and the meals are prepared by Li garden restaurant..at 1st when i saw the restaurant name, 1st thing comes into my mind is Pecking Duck!!! hahaha but unfortunalely ours ticket costing only RM35 wont have such cuisine la~ and its understandable that such great amount of table to be serve and therefore the quality of the food was compromise lo... ai... sayang la.. but anyway our table was pretty lucky... the last lucky draw price came to our table hehehe

亚答街 Fish ball

亚大街 [atap street] situated at heart of KUCHING CITY, entrance beside the gud old POST OFFICE. Few of the local delicacies resides along the perimeter of the streets. I've been hearing loads of nice food around here but not untill recently that i got the chance to feast on these legendary food stalls...

and today~ the chosen stall is the <<fish ball tang hoon>> and the <<cha kueh>> which is just 100 meters away from the entrance.

this is my All-in-Special fishball tang hoon

actually the "Special" doesn't really look much different from the normal but large 1 though... its just additional few more fishballs and meatballs... hhahaa this is pretty nice bowl of meal when u feel like having a light meal especially a nite of hang out at the bar

this is also one of the nice SATAY from the same stall. The meat is thinly cut so when u sink ur teeth into it... ohhh... silky smooth yet full flavoured... i think they did great job at marinating the satays though!! 2 thumbs up!!

and finally but not least the most delicious <<CHA KUEH>> i've ever had... well compared to kenyalang's 1 i mean.. haha
its kind of pricey if compared to those sold in Kenyalang park's market, 1 pack cost RM2...
but somehow the mixture of garlic, turnip, and also the main ingredient carrot cake mixed up so well together with the gula melaka or locally known as "atap sugar" the outcome = marvelous ~~
------------>>> see how small the RM2 cha kueh is.... gee i gotta learn how to fried these things... so profitable... haha anyway 2 thumbs up for this cha kueh apart from the price hehe... RECOMEMDED!!!

there's a word came by my mind justnow having chicken rice for dinner with my parents behind hock lee... shall i change my blog tittle to a mouse life??? cuz when i look back into my previous post its mainly about food hahahah.... cuz I LIKE FOOD!!! ESPECIALLY NICE ONES!!! FOOD ROCKS!!! YEAH!!!

anyway~ here's another post of food again [yes kenneth, again food.. hahaha]

Location: just oposite from the 2 banana situated 2 more shops to the left. Its visible from 2 banana

diners: me, lai, jack, fab n ken

it was a typical chinese meals with sort of hongkong style dim sum..

from left drunken chicken, dumpling, 豆沙饼



as for the above right my favorite 小笼包with the soup inside, so u actually got to "juut" the soup out 1st b4 u eat the bun... haha kind of fun and delicious..

and on the left is my main course of the lunch, their specialty of the day, tofu rice. Well it turns out pretty tasty just like wud the boss recomended though.. its more like 糯米饭but not as full as it. so overall its kind of nice 2 thunbs up for this too

anyway looking forward to try its peanut and red bean paste bun.. deep fried to perfection... looks kind of attractive..

BANANA SAUCE?!?!?!

1st VISIT TO 2 BANANAS!!!!

it all started with the sme old question of where to go for dinner in the car while i was holding the steering wheel with lai at the side and ken and fab at the back... hmmm so wher to... then suddently 2 YELLOW piece of thing flash through my mind... ITS BANANA!!!!

so without loosing any precious time i shimmy and shuffle through the hussle and bussle of the off work period trafic to 2 bananas located at jln keretapi

when settling down me and lai decided to go for the extream. Since we're in 2 bananas restaurant why not have a FULL BANANA MEAL??
we ordered "2 banana" as our drink
chicken chop with banana sauce for lai and mongolian sauce for me but we opt for the sauce to be seperated so we can have a taste of all
and also a butter prawn like starter BUTTER PRAWN WITH HONEY SALAD to start with

i wasnt expecting much diff at first cus i never knew that the banana can be a main ingredient for a main dish!!!! but when the food came... i was astonished by the full bodied aroma of the banana from the banana sauce!!!!

it was like a cuisine version of culture shock!!!! ITS VERY NICE!!!!!! i had it 2 days ago and i still remember the taste!!! ITS A PIECE OF ART nice ly blend of crispy western chicken chop mate with aromatic banana sauce.......mmmmmmmMMMMMmmmm.... gee i feels like having the bowl of sauce here with me now....

1 bowl is never enough for us fortunately the chef's generous enough to give us another bowl of banana sauce to finish up our fries too hahaha...

in the end it turns out that my mongolian sauce was still look as if its untouched... hahaha cant stop to dip all food into the banana sauce...

seriously ppl, 2 thumbs up for me for the banana sauce..

the only thing i'm concern is how long could they survive... we were the only table during dinner time ard 6pm... i hope they could survive...

Here I am again at The Spring Kuching for my 2nd attempt of Sushi King Bonanza 2008
Q looks even more scary than 1st day... mayb its because of other retailer's complain the Q is being arrange in a "V" shape... ps: Q starts right in front of Sushi King down to middle of corridor and back to Samsonite's shop front....

But the waiting time for this time wasn't that bad as compared to previous one, we've waited for only ard 45mins and we're in!

Okay, from left above is our 1st wave sushi feast! plate count: 26!

Unagi's as short as short bread... wud to do... mayb KCH ppl really CAN EAT... they be ta han liao hahaha... Anyway, we manage to stuff our stomach with not as much as 1st day, but not too few either...

SUSHI KING BONANZA!!! EVERY RICE BASE SUSHI FOR RM2!!!!

Here I am joining "the great que of Spring" every1's waiting for their chance to feast on those delicious Unagis, tempuras, baby octopus...
I reach and que around 8.15 and just look at the Q! from the front of ELLE lei!!! THIS IS MADNESS!! as if its free-of-charge!!

15 minutes later...

....
...
..
.
looks as if i'm standing at the very same piece of tiles ae? yup... exactly... no movement for 15 minutes....
30 minutes pass, finally the Q starts to move!! i can see the fish [sushi king logo] getting closer and closer to me... ken, fab, kheng n hui hui came after then

....
.....
more than an hour passes... *yawn* finally our turn to be sitted and feast it on!
10 mins after we sat down... hahaha

actually this was only 1st round... if they had more plates i wud be able to take pic of table full of plates... but unfortunately the waitress keep come and collect... *grr* spoil the fun...

I calculated if it wasn't the RM2 regardless of any colour plates we took, normall price would have cost us RM146 for the 1st round... hahaha

roughly calculation i've had more then 10 plates of the rice-base sushi... can u immagine... i'm stuffed with rice... LOADS OF IT... hahaaha but its great experience that i use to have back in syd after 9 when the japanese rest also did the same promo to clear up their stocks...

day 3...another but last boring day..

another boring but at last the last day at first aid training course hosted but a very old fashion ah mu...

she's not only slow [slower than 打太极] she needs everything to be soo perfect... can u imagine she needs the knot to be tied not too hard but not too soft and has to be presented beautifully flat... i mean hello~~ its not a gift ok~~ we need to act fast so just tie the knot so that it won fall off during the journey to hospital enuf dy wad... tie so pretty... tok mei~~

that's just 1 example how unreasonable she thought us... but lets not mention her... she's old after all haha so cant blame her for her culture and edu that she experienced [err mii tuo fuo...san zai san zai... not gud talking back at ppl esp old ppl haha... but cant help not to mention... 3 DAYSSSS facing her betahan ah...

but anyway... atleast i had my lunch at another nice shop at the same street as my 1st day lunch

and my food of that day~~ very tastily sweet by itself's seafood soup shared with my collegue

well it may look like pataya style rice at first but its actually a piece of prawn fried egg..... haha kena tipu by its look on the menu... if it was fried rice inside then it sud be much worth it ..

anyway the soup is more tasty than the 1st day's sparepart soup haha which out of my expectation...

First Aid Course day1

yiii ngoooo yii ngooo here comes ambulance~~and the paramedic's here
hahaha being infected by ambulance virus...

Took a 3+1 day First Aid course which is part of the requirement in the project which i'm working at now.. the course consist of 3 day workshop which include boring~~ long~~ lectures and more interesting but still quite boring de practical session. and by day 4 we even have EXAM!!!!! can u immagine that???!!!! i tot i won be having any exam after i grad ...but its wrong!!! though i understand this is an international certified thingi but also no need so kin teo ma.. haha

but anyway thinnkin it in a positive way its kind of gud la~ at least i load myself with sumthin really useful which i might someday safe some1's life

anyway here it is a funny building with badminton hall sitting on top of the HQ under 1 roof... funny minded architech design that... look closely u'll find a perfect half round shape thingi.. at 1st i tot was structural failure but its infact a BEE HIVE!!

here we have a first aid course kit with some notes, booklets and 2 triangular bandage... further towards the end of the day i discover that 2 piece of cloths's indeed very useful tools lei~ 所谓工欲善其事，必先利其布 LOL

after a long mornin comes to the time we all'v been waited food for life!!! yaey!!
we went pasar for some mouth watery superb~ ah kuek's pig spareparts noodle at 花香街...
so many years in kch never knew this shop exist...haha now only have this opportunity to lunch in city~
hmmm wonder wud's tommorow's breakfast and lunch's gonna be hehehe~~

Swinburne Prom 2008

1st post PROM~
always wanted to go prom since the very first year of my uni...
but the sad thing is...never been to any till i graduate... *sigh* sometime feels kind of wasted...
anyway this is obviously not MY prom, not even hosted by MY Uni... but who cares! here i am!
@ sarawak chamber CROWN HOTEL's ball room for SWINBURNE PROM 2008 ha!

At first it seems to be that the ambience was quite familiar... was it the same setting when i attend my cousin's wedding many years b4?? but its really nice though. stream of roses pedals leads u from outside to the hall where balloons welcome you to the 4 leg ed thingi where most of the ppl takes photos there... that wall of bulbs and roses do appears to be very nice though...unfortunately photo doesn't really shows the effects haha..

moving on to our nice dishes of the evening~
